A imaginative telling of the life of Lee Miller, model, muse and photographer. She was a model for Vogue in 1920s’ New York before going to Paris. There she became the muse and lover of Surrealist photographer Man Ray and honed her photography and life skills.

Still later she became a famed war correspondent being the first woman to photograph the horrors of Dachau and Auschwitz. Hers was a fascinating life, yet she was never satisfied, always searching for more, and this novel captures well her hunger for success. A very interesting read.
